The Society of United Professionals is launching a coordinated, union-wide campaign to protect and embed hybrid work as a recognized and permanent working condition for all members.

Hybrid work is not a perk. It is a proven model that supports productivity, strengthens organizational effectiveness, and enhances recruitment and retention.

Through member engagement, evidence-based advocacy, and collective action, this campaign will:

  • Push back against arbitrary return-to-office requirements
  • Promote fairness and consistency in how hybrid work is applied
  • Protect rights secured through Collective Agreements

Recognizing that each local faces unique circumstances, this campaign is designed to support members in every context.

By standing together, we will ensure hybrid work is recognized as a core working condition - not a privilege - and that flexibility and accountability go hand in hand.
